Pruning of a Berry Bush

I collected this bush last Spring. I especially like the way the roots look (although you can’t see it in the shot, due to the tall pot). Originally I thought the tree can be worked into a twin trunk, but looking at it more, it really is a main trunk with a parallel main branch.

I decided to remove the other trunk at the back. I left some of the trunk for future sculpting of the jin. The pot is a bit too tall and limits my ability to style the tree. I’ll be looking to moving it to colander this weekend as well. After that, I can expose some of the roots, while work on the initial styling of the tree. This bush seems to bud back readily, so, plenty of options here.
